Summary
Love of music unites the four members of the band Given: hotheaded guitarist Uenoyama， playboy drummer Akihiko， gentle bassist Haruki， and Mafuyu， a singer gifted with great talent and burdened by past tragedy。 Their struggles and conflicts may drive them apart， but their bond to the music—and to each other—always brings them back together again。
As the band races toward their first live concert， Mafuyu struggles to write lyrics for their new song but can’t find the words to express the emotions burning within him。 Meanwhile， Uenoyama hears rumors about Mafuyu’s past and is bewildered by his own feelings。 The tension builds until the night of the show， when the band explodes into a raging， life-changing performance。

This is so cute！ I am beyond curious about Mafuyu's past and of who Yuki was。。。 I also am having a hard time with the ships because I like the MC's together and I also like the ship where 1/2 is dead， which is obviously pointless because that one no longer exists。But moving on， I loved that scene after Mafuyu sings。 SO CUTE！ I can't wait for the last three volumes to arrive this Friday so I can watch the movie and anime。 This is so cute！ I am beyond curious about Mafuyu's past and of who Yuki was。。。 I also am having a hard time with the ships because I like the MC's together and I also like the ship where 1/2 is dead， which is obviously pointless because that one no longer exists。But moving on， I loved that scene after Mafuyu sings。 SO CUTE！ I can't wait for the last three volumes to arrive this Friday so I can watch the movie and anime。 。。。more

Un volumen bastante interesante y en que hubo mas avance en el romance del que esperaba。 Se puso bastante profundo por momentos y eso me gustó。 Pero por otro lado a veces se me hacía dificil seguir la historia porque muchos de los personajes secundarios son muy parecidos en diseño。 Igualmente disfruté bastante la historia y realmente quiero ver para donde la lleva la autora。

EN RESUMENLa banda se prepara para su primer concierto。 ACLARACIÓNTodos estos puntos están de alguna forma influenciados por conocimientos y opiniones que ya tenía sobre la historia gracias a la adaptación del anime。ASPECTOS POSITIVOS- Los personajes y sus relaciones siguen siendo el punto más fuerte de esta historia。 Uenoyama y Mafuyu en particular。 Kizu tiene un poder increíble a la hora de mostrar y no decir。 El miedo y la incertidumbre de Uenoyama por su primer amor， y la lucha interna entre EN RESUMENLa banda se prepara para su primer concierto。 ACLARACIÓNTodos estos puntos están de alguna forma influenciados por conocimientos y opiniones que ya tenía sobre la historia gracias a la adaptación del anime。ASPECTOS POSITIVOS- Los personajes y sus relaciones siguen siendo el punto más fuerte de esta historia。 Uenoyama y Mafuyu en particular。 Kizu tiene un poder increíble a la hora de mostrar y no decir。 El miedo y la incertidumbre de Uenoyama por su primer amor， y la lucha interna entre la culpa， el luto y la necesidad de superar el pasado de Mayufu son mostrados en cada capítulo con un dibujo que te hace reír en un momento y llorar en el otro。 Hay también un pequeño tease de lo que se viene con Haruki y Akihiko y llega en el momento justo。 Entendés un poco porque Akihiko entiende la situación de Uenoyama y Mafuyu tan bien， y se hace acento nuevamente en el rol que cumplen él y Haruki en la banda （LOS TÍOS GAYS）。 - La presencia de más personajes secundarios。 Ugetsu aparece y de repente ya quiero conocer todo sobre él。 Y la aparición de Hiigari es apropiada dado el tema que toca el tomo。 - El dibujo sigue siendo perfecto。 Si bien me leí ESE capítulo con Fuyu no Hanashi de fondo porque soy una masoquista， pero incluso sin la música Kizu logra trasmitir tantas emociones con un dibujo sencillo。 Los personajes son sumamente expresivos。 Sentís todo， la culpa， el dolor， la perdida， los celos。 Esa metáfora con la guitarra es muy linda。 （view spoiler）[La escena en la que Mafuyu empieza a cantar y ese conjunto de flashbacks con Yuki te rompen en el corazón。 Y todo eso desembocando en la revelación de lo que le dijo， de su pelea， es impactante y muy bien logrado。 Todo eso con lo mínimo de diálogo y solo narración。 MAFUYU VIENDO A YUKI ENTRE EL PÚBLICO。 ESE PRIMER BESO ENTRE UENOYAMA Y MAFUYU。 MAFUYU CONFESÁNDOLE A UN OBVIAMENTE EMOCIONADO HIIGARI QUE SE ENAMORÓ DE ALGUIEN MÁS。 TODO PERFECTO Y BELLO。 （hide spoiler）]- El humor sigue siendo perfecto y le da a un tomo tan cargado unos momentos más ligeros。 Amo cada gay panic de Uenoyama que Kizu nos da。 Y esos capítulos extras al final de tomo son todo （aunque ya me resigné a que nunca voy a poder escapar de las referencias a Jojo）ASPECTOS NEGATIVOS- El pacing se siente rápido。 De repende Mafuyu es un genio de la música con solo meses de práctica。 En cierta forma lo entiendo: los capítulos salen cada dos meses por lo que leerlo de esa forma y con un manga recopilatorio es diferente。 Pero de igual forma hay muchos saltos de tiempo que por ahí le sacan un poco de realismo a la historia。 CONCLUSIÓNEl tomo 2 de Given entrega emoción y dolor y esperanza， todo al mismo tiempo， con un dibujo excelente， una narración que acompaña y te rompe el corazón， y un desarrollo de personaje prometedor。 。。。more

"Te echo de menos。 Siempre estarás en cualquier lugar al que vaya。 Siempre estarás en mi mente。 Siempre estarás en todo lo que vea。 Podré verte e incluso olerte， donde quiera que esté。"No puedo ser objetiva cuando se trata de este volumen porque， al igual que Mafuyu， un día， la persona que más amaba， ya no estaba。 Nunca pude despedirme y pasé días， meses， años enteros intentando comprender qué fue lo que sucedió。 Esa pérdida tan abrupta te cambia por completo， sobre todo cuando se trata de a "Te echo de menos。 Siempre estarás en cualquier lugar al que vaya。 Siempre estarás en mi mente。 Siempre estarás en todo lo que vea。 Podré verte e incluso olerte， donde quiera que esté。"No puedo ser objetiva cuando se trata de este volumen porque， al igual que Mafuyu， un día， la persona que más amaba， ya no estaba。 Nunca pude despedirme y pasé días， meses， años enteros intentando comprender qué fue lo que sucedió。 Esa pérdida tan abrupta te cambia por completo， sobre todo cuando se trata de alguien que era importante para ti。 Es por eso que su dolor， esa confusión que siente acerca de sí mismo， el enojo， el dolor， la nostalgia y el vacío… todo eso lo entiendo de primera mano。 Aun cuando considero que va un poco rápido al contar la historia， creo que la mangaka ha sabido expresar ese amago de emociones perfectamente。 Por otra parte， es bonito ver que， de alguna manera， Akihiko y Haruki hacen lo posible para ayudar a sus compañeros de banda。 Uenoyama y Mafuyu son adolescentes que se gustan y creo que a esa edad todo es muy confuso y tendemos a ahogarnos en un vaso de agua， sin saber que hay personas a nuestro alrededor que pueden darnos la mano y ayudarnos a levantarnos。 En Given vemos un montón de romances， algunos tiernos y amables， otros obsesivos y tóxicos， sin embargo， creo que al final del día， todos ellos son muy reales。 Conocerte a ti mismo （con todo lo que eso supone） y ser parte de la vida de otra persona van entrelazados。 Lo cierto es que cada momento compartido puede tornarse en un recuerdo agridulce y siento que eso es lo más difícil de explicar a otros que quizá no lo han experimentado aún。En fin， que ya quiero leer el siguiente volumen para saber qué pasa con los chicos de la banda。 Este volumen se compone de los capítulos 7 – 11。REVIEWS ANTERIORES:Volumen 1 。。。more
